Worldmark Encyclopedia of National Economies
The Lancer Library now offers the Worldmark Encyclopedia of National Economies online as a searchable e-book!
If your students are doing research related to countries or economics, check out this resource. Each article in the encyclopedia discusses a specific country, addressing topics such as politics, government, taxation, infrastructure, communications, economic sectors, agriculture, industry, services, trade, money, poverty and wealth, working conditions, and future trends. Maps, graphs, and statistics support the text, and a bibliography of books and websites give direction for further research.
